Hello. I am a resident in the Johnstown area and believe the complaints regarding the odour at Hafod Landfill are not being taken seriously enough!

The local council, Natural Resource Wales and Enovert are not doing enough to sort the issues! The smell is absolutely disgusting, some days more than others!

On a bad day during the summer months, we can’t always enjoy our gardens, Iv had to keep my children indoors numerous times because the stench has been so bad. We can’t have doors or windows open! The smell is also bad during the winter months when it’s wet. I’m not sure what contributing factors make the smell worse.. but what I do know is that the Johnstown residents have had enough! This has been going on for long enough and no one is doing anything about it!
